Goldfish - Roy Harper

Little goldfish in your bowl
I've dug you all day long
Yellow scales arising
Through the ceiling of my song

Little bee sat on your flower
A-swaying in the breeze
Funny little furry voice
A-buzzing through the leaves

Little goldfish in your bowl
I've dug you all day long
Yellow scales arising
Through the ceiling of my song

Little bird sat upon your twig
Your sounds ring through my ears
We can reach the sunrise
Through the morning's hopes and fears

Crazed blue-eyed starry-minded
fluffly little ball
Oh little baby on my knee
I love you most of all

Little goldfish in your bowl
I've dug you all day long
Yellow scales arising
Through the ceiling of my song

Petit peixet vermell dins la seva peixera
t'he estat cavant tot el dia
Escales grogues que surgeixen
a través de la teulada de la meva cançó

Petita abella sentada sobre la seva flor
T'influeix en la brisa una veueta
graciosa i peluda sona entre les fulles

Petit peixet vermell dins la seva peixera
t'he estat cavant tot el dia
Escales grogues que surgeixen
a través de la teulada de la meva cançó

Petit ocellet sentat sobre la seva branqueta
els teus sons toquen pels meus oïdes
Nosaltres podem alcançar la sortida del sol
per les esperances i pors del demà

Fluffly embogit i estrellat
importat de ulls blaus com pilotetes
Ah petit infant sobre el meu genoll
t'estimo per damunt de tot

Petit peixet vermell dins la seva peixera
t'he estat cavant tot el dia
Escales grogues que surgeixen
a través de la teulada de la meva cançó

Roy Harper's voice transmits me the quite feel of a calm situation. He calm me quickly with his voice. This song is the story of a fish, like poetry, singer makes rithm with lyric with a sort of comparations between different animals: a fish, a been and a bird. The singer describes the situations of all this sort of animals. In the different animal situations. Finally we have to sat that Roy makes personifications with these animals and converts them to life bodys with the action with the song.

Human Rights

1. What are human rights?

Human rights are the rights you can have because you're human. All humans of any kind of society or religion have these rights.

2. When did human rights start?

These rights started 10th December of 1948. But at the same time they didn't exist there were a kind of human right in the interior of any person, a feeling like compassion that does we better humans.

3. Why were they created?
To less clear the dignity of a person and the valor a person could has amongst others.

4. How many human rights are there?
There are 30 articles.

5. Which human right were you not familiar with?
All of them because we find them in our lives.

6. Choose one human right and discuss:
Article 3: Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.

"Live and less live" (The Jungle Book) I can begin this discussion with Balu's quote in The Jungle Book film of Disney because it's one of the things I've learn in my childhood and now I can use it to describe this article of Human Rights.

Everybody can has the right to life because nature have give him this present. It's a thing anybody can't takes from you if not it's killing you. But we have to discuss the important theme of this article. A person it's free to has the life he want with security of any government and to has a life how she want.

There are radical persons thinking that if a person hasn't got his ideologists is not a person and for this reason, a barber. For this reason, too, we have this article in Human Rights.

7. Are Humans rights relevant in the world today? why?

Yes, they are relevant to improve the treatment with persons and to defend persons in danger, they have supposed a past and an after in time. In other way, there are many corruption governments that are not defenders of Human Rights and don't respect them.

Transcription: Google history

Hi, everybody. I’m Roger and I want to explain you the main theme of my oral presentation, Google History. To introduce this explanation, I’m going to do one question: Nuri, what does Google mean? Well, thank you, it's one thing you'll learn in this presentation.

At the beginning, we have to know the early history of Google. Everything began in January 1996, as a research project in Stanford University in California. Larry Page, was joined by Sergey Brin to do in pairs the research project to the final of his informatics career. They hypothesized that a search engine that analyzed the relationships between websites would produce better ranking of results than existing techniques, which ranked results according to the number of times the search term appeared on a page. Their search engine was originally nicknamed "Back-rub" because the system checked by back-links.

The engine of these two guys works and important company's began to see this project with aspirations of future, but in the world of dreams of these boys, they don’t know the importance of their creation and they were only worried to created a commercial name. How I’ve told in the previous introduction, this name was Google that provains of the mathematics form goo-gol 10 raised to 100.

For the one hand we have to know the Acquisitions Google have done in the short period of time of his life. Like several companies at the beginning and big companies like:
- Keyhole, Inc. which developed a product called Earth Viewer, renamed in 2005 to Google Earth.
- Youtube
- JotSpot
- DoubleClick
- GrandCentral
- Postini

For the other hand, the Partnerships of this enormous company that eat every moment more companies, are very important to the future, these big companies like:
- NASA
- Sun Microsystems
- Time Warner's AOL
- News Corp.'s Fox Interactive Media
- British Sky Broadcasting

Give to Google an important capital and their internationalist. Google have departments around all the world and it’s compatible with any language exist, including dialects, like Catalan.

To conclude my oral presentation I want to give a critical view of Google, because it not only has smiles. Google has monopolized the informatics market like Microsoft. It eats any good company that can be better of him and he include this company like a additional department of his company. But we know that Google has the world in his hands.

Self-evaluation: Google history

In this post I want to do a critical self-evaluation of my first oral presentation in this term which it has been about Google history. So I pretend to revise all the important parts of an oral presentation to give me a hypothetical mark. The finality of this comment is you can see the points you've done worse to improve them in the next oral presentation of the next term.

PRESENTATION

To do my oral presentation I've used a power point to support my explanation. I was been using internet images to create this power point that curiously I've found in Google images, one of a lot of applications Google has.

BODY LANGUAGE AND EYE CONTACT

I have to be ill to don't see public the major time of my oral presentations. It's one of the characteristics I can give to myself. However I think it's a thing my evaluators haven't appreciated when I've done my oral presentation. I've never seen the paper I take and which I was been moving all time because of the nervous, but it's normal. I've tried to give public the most nearly explanation to them with an eye contact I was been searching all time and which I've found at the most important moment of the presentation, the conclusion.

STRUCTURE

The structure I was been following is an introduction with the origin of Google. It was followed to the Google term meaning and after I've explained the acquisitions, relationships and applications this company have done with the past of time. Finally I've concluded my oral presentation with a good critical to big companies like Google.

CONTENT

I think the content of my oral presentation was completely unknown to the audience. Anybody knew anything about Google history: his origin, his name meaning, his relationships with other companies... For this reason I think the content was good in a general term. I know that I've could include more things but I've find a lot of unnecessary things to explain that weren't important to know the general meaning of this company.

LANGUAGE

To do the oral presentation I use to use simply grammar and I pretend to introduce new terms and concepts audience don't know, but it is never easy. I've included technical words, like mathematical concepts to describe the Google name. However I think it's one of the most important things I should to improve, the enrichment of my english vocabulary.

PRONUNCIATION AND INTONATION

In a presentation, it's normal be nervous and it can be reflected in the intonation or in the vocalization of words. Maybe in some parts of the presentation I've speed a lot, but surprisingly my oral presentation is 5 minutes long, so the perfect time.

EVALUATION

Presentation: 7/10%
Body language and eye contact: 9/10%
Structure: 8/10%
Content: 30/40%
Language: 15/20%
Pronunciation and intonation: 6/10%

TOTAL: 75/100%

To conclude this self-evaluation I want to do my point of sight other evaluations. This presentation is a chase that have surprised me, because some persons have evaluated to me with very good marks and congratulation to me, however, there are other people that have said me they weren't know what I said. I think it could be because of the speed pronunciation of much words, so I pretend to improve it.

"It's time for electronic books. Paper books are history." Do you agree?

We can see ourselves watching a computer, in our days is the most common thing, we use it every day. We can be sure that past societies had never thought about the invention which has transformed our era in the PC era. Every day more scientists in the world are investigating to create new electronic things, one of these inventions is the E-Book or also called electronic books.

Firstly, teachers of medicine are always saying that we are damaging our sight using computers. Young people are wearing glasses more and more, why? Because of the new electronic teaching system that fosters the government. I think the education is going worse. I completely disagree with the new programme of the country, because ten-year-old students are beginning to use computers to learn. Books are programmed in PCs. Their sight would we damaged and they won't learn in paper, they won't read novels. Which kind of education is the one that promotes students not to use a pencil and a paper?

Secondly, I only can agree this situation, thinking that it's something that we can stop, something that we have to see and we will have to live. I think we rescue trees using this method. But humans have tendency to destroy everything in his way, if we do not destroy trees to create paper we will destroy to do another thing.

To sum up, I will protest to this new education. Young people have to read more than now and in a computer, we lose the feeling of reading. Definitely I think politicians have to improve this system and create steps to success in an electronic world with paper that can be their friend.
