Hello, I love you - The Doors

Hello, I love you
Wont you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game
Hello, I love you
Wont you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game

Shes walking down the street
Blind to every eye she meets
Do you think youll be the guy
To make the queen of the angels sigh?

Hello, I love you
Wont you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game
Hello, I love you
Wont you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game

She holds her head so high
Like a statue in the sky
Her arms are wicked, and her legs are long
When she moves my brain screams out this song

Sidewalk crouches at her feet
Like a dog that begs for something sweet
Do you hope to make her see, you fool?
Do you hope to pluck this dusky jewel?

Hello, I love you
Wont you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game
Hello, I love you
Wont you tell me your name?
Hello, I love you
Let me jump in your game

How the turtle's shell evolved

A group of scientists have discovered a 220 million-year-old turtle fossil from China, that they can see the turtle’s shell evolved and how it become in nowadays turtle. It was an important archaeological find to reject other possible hypotheses of the creation turle’s shell. The fossilised turtle ancestor, which has been named Odontochelys semitestacea, meaning half-shelled turtle with teeth.

It’s propably that only live in rivers or deltas because the fossil explain us that the ancestor turtle had a maritim live. When the turtle only lived in the water, they have more potency to swim to scape to the predators. The shell was developed because when the turtles want to floor, they haven’t got any protection and only the turtles with a more stronger shell survive unleashing that the turtle in our days is with a stong shell.

South Africa 'at risk of cholera'

In South Africa the situation for the water is critical. Few persons have died intent trying to obtain drinkable water crossing Zimbabwe. A scientist, Mr.Turton has travel to there investigate the situation, but the Council of Scientific has suspended him to an affirmation that is passing in our days, "heading for a significant crisis in the water sector". For this reason, it's probably that these people didn't dead for the undrinkable water but the water could be contaminated of cholera.
The important groups of scientists don't think like Mr.Turton and say that it's an unnapropiate argument. But, if it is real, a lot of south african lives are in danger.

The South African government has denied this affirmation because they have witnees that the water is drinkable and it's tottally health. But an important group support Mr.Turton. South Africa's Minister of Health, Barbara Hogan, said South Africa has nearly 200 cases reported so far, but we can't call it a cholera crisis.

Adrian Mole vs Thirteen

After read Adrian's Mole book and see Thirteen I want to compare them. The two treat of teenagers with different problems.

Adrian Mole
The book is the diary of Adrian Mole, which he starts at 1 January. He’s mad at his mum because she doesn’t give him healthy food. In January his parents get ill and Adrian feels sorry for himself because he has to take care of his parents. The neighbour, Mr. Lucas, visits Adrian’s mother very often, even when she’s recovered. At school there is a new girl, Pandora, and Adrian is in love with her. Adrian has to take care of an 89-year-old man, Bert Baxter. And when Adrian finds out his best friend Nigel is going out with Pandora he feels very depressed. In the mean while Adrian’s mother visits Mr. Lucas very often and after a few days she gets a job at the same office as Mr. Lucas and she rides to work with him every day.

Because of this, Adrian’s parents argue a lot. Barry Kent, a classmate of Adrian demands money. Adrian can’t pay him and it's the reason Barry hurt him. In November his mother sends a telegram, in which she says she is coming home, and his parents fall in love again. In January Bert Baxter marries with Queenie. And his father finally finds a job. Adrian and Pandora make a fight, but after a few days, they make it up again. The diary ends on April 3, a day after Adrian’s birthday.

Thirteen is a little bit different as Adrian Mole. Overcoat because the situations are very different.

Thirteen

Oral presentation - Transcription

HI, I'm Roger and I'm student, well student now, I wanna be Catalonia's President. Well, my oral presentation it's about U.S. elections. Why? Because I've watched tv every day this year and all time U.S. elections appeared in it.
U.S. elections are composed by two different parties, the democratic party and the republican party. Yes, the logos are a donkey and an elephant.
Well. The elections americans are a little bit different as our one. First, the country chooses the representative of political party to be in presidency elections. This year, the most hardly primaries, the name of this first elects, have been the democratic primaries with two opponents that has been Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Obama won with a difference of 43 superdelegates. While Obama won his democratic primaries, John McCain won without problems his personal primaries. Well, the battle for the presidency was served. McCain would have to see the faces with Obama, a man who increased his reputation every day he talk.
To vote, let me explain. Citizens must vote to compromisaries of a party or each other. The largest number of compromisaries won and the votes of all the state go with a party.
There was a lot of polls that won John McCain, but the important quote was in 4th November that won Barack Obama with a reult, an historical marck 349 to 163 delegates.
Let's hope the new president will improve the economic, sanitary, belong to Kyoto's agreement and solve the country in war, Iraq. But , the United States will be a country dangerlike it is in our days, with the current acting president George Walker Bush, also called the stupid in images, you can see.
Finally, we want to listen a video and you'll can make me some questions and I'll try to answer it, thank you.
